The Animation Keynote 2023

The animation keynote is Manchester Animation Festival’s yearly opportunity to hear from a titan of industry as they reveal their process and plans for the future. For 2023 we join Orion Ross, Vice President, International Animation, Disney Branded Television at The Walt Disney Company who will share how Disney is working in the UK on global series and discussing the evolving opportunities for the UK’s rich and unique ecosystem of animation creators, writers, artists, studios and producers to play a leading role in making new global hits.

Orion Ross is Vice President, International Animation at Disney Branded Television. His team develop and produce animated series including the Disney+ Originals Chip 'n' Dale: Park Life, Dragon Striker and Magicampers, plus original children's series Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir, 101 Dalmation Street and the BAFTA-winning Disney XDFC shorts program.
