BBC Children’s: Inform. Educate. Animate.

BBC' Children's & Education

Everything you need to know about pitching and developing an animation project with BBC Children’s!

Sarah Muller and Liz Chan will outline how pitching works, what type of materials we expect to see, and how these materials need to develop over time both before and after the point of commission. And crucially: what sort of financial or production partnerships are needed to get a TV series made for CBBC and CBeebies.

We will also meet the finalists from the BBC’s animation development initiative – BBC Ignite. Hear first-hand about their experience of developing a series idea with BBC Children’s
