Masterclass: How ILM’s animators breathed life into the toys of Netflix’s ‘Lost Ollie’

We will be taking a small dive into the history of how Lost Ollie went from a successful children’s illustrated book to an emotional performance driven animated live action series on Netflix.

We’ll go behind the scenes of the production and discover how ILM brought a lost toy, searching across the countryside for the boy who lost him, to life, retaining the magic of the original source material. We will be delving into how ILM’s team came up with the style, workflow and technology to drive the animation for the principal characters of Ollie, Rosie and Zozo.
