Siri Melchior

Siri Melchior is a director, designer and illustrator living and working in London. Siri focuses specifically on children’s animation and storytelling. She has directed and designed several shorts and series. Her short film “The Dog Who Was a Cat Inside” was nominated for a BAFTA. She has produced two independent pre-school TV series, both based on her own books: “Rita and Crocodile” and “LILI”. “Rita and Crocodile” won several awards including best TV series at Annecy Animation Festival and best TV production at Chicago Children´s Film Festival. Two years later, “LILI” also won best TV series at Annecy. For the past four years, Siri has brought her distinctive vision to the Apple TV+ animated series Not a Box, directing and designing the adaptation of the beloved, award-winning children’s book into a bold and imaginative new show.
