Steve Lee
As a recruiter for Industrial Light & Magic, Steve is tasked with finding exceptional VFX Talent to work on the many amazing Film and Episodic TV projects that ILM have been awarded. The departments he currently assists are Animation, FX, Crowd, Model, Groom, Paint & Roto, Creature and Technology.
Steve’s career has spanned 16+ years to date; with a background in the Entertainment Industry at Disney Television Animation. In the Voice Over Casting Admin Department Steve handled actor’s deals for shows like Kim Possible, Phineas and Ferb, Ducktales, Gravity Falls, etc. In his current role, as a VFX Recruiter, his main passions are to promote Diversity & Inclusion, understanding the evolving VFX landscape and learning new ways to harness emerging talents. Connecting and helping steer junior artists to break into the industry is the most rewarding aspect of his job.
Outside of work, Steve’s time is spent with his family, playing video games and watching science fiction/horror films.
