Death takes his apprentice on a routine assignment, hoping to show her how the job is done. Despite careful instruction, her inability to focus and her gentle nature turn a straightforward task into a prolonged exercise in frustration. As Death’s patience wears thin, he receives professional advice from the most unlikely source - the man they are meant to collect. The problem, it turns out, is not failure but method.

A Little Death is a darkly comic, fable about accepting that there is more than one way to do the job, and that kindness may be one of them.
