May Kindred-Boothby
May Kindred-Boothby is a Director/Writer/Animator based in Bristol. She has worked as a freelance animator since 2016. Wanting to move more into direction and make some of her own work she recently did the Masters in Animation at the RCA. While there she completed her first directorial short The Eating of an Orange, which has been so far well received on the festival circuit and won the Special Jury award for Animation direction at Sundance Film Festival 2025. She is now working on ideas for her next short, and her first feature.
